*SPECIAL EVENT* Aurum Light Milk Workshops
ShutterClass is proud to present the famous Aurum Light Milk Workshops, all the way from the UK!
The Details
For the first time in Australia, this is one of those rare chances to be part of some amazing image making!! If you are not familiar with Aurum Light and their famous water and milk shoots, check out the June Workshop summary
The registration page is over on the Melbourne Photography Workshops Meetup.com page (of click the image at the top), get over there to secure your place. If the workshop is full, there will be a second workshop announced shortly once the details are finalised, so get on the waiting list.
Agenda:
DAY 1:
- Open with an overview, covering "know how", tools, lighting, approach and a deconstruction of previous images
- Demonstration shoot, showing how to get the results, work with the models and assistants
- Working in pairs, shoot two sets of your own milk source shots (one shoots, one throws, and swap!), with assistance from the Aurum Light team
Day 2:
- Work through the post-production of the previous days shoots. Although intense in places, the pace is set based on the group, so no-one is left behind!
Attendees also get access to the recipes, tips and techniques for bringing the whole shoot together - including access to materials and PSD supporting content!
Who should attend? Anyone interested in having a hugely fun time, creating amazing images.
What should I bring? You'll need your camera and a tripod. You'll also need your laptop with Photoshop on it, since Day 2 is all about editing the images. If you are OK with creating/using masks, you'll be fine for this workshop. Lunch is not provided, but there are plenty of good food options nearby, and at least 4 coffee shops to choose from!
When is it? It's on 16/17 November, starting at 9.30am each day and finishing somewhere around 5.30pm (or a little later, depending on group speed!).
Where is it? The workshop is being held at ShutterClass Studios in Melbourne, details below
Price? $490 covers both days working with the Aurum Light team, materials and instruction. Lunch is not provided, and attendees must bring their own laptops with Photoshop installed. Registration and payment details can be found when you click on the image at the top!
Other notes... We're not able to accomodate guests or observers on this one, it will be a closed set due to the content (models will be up to full nude, depending on the type of shot in progress).
We'd like to thank...
The team from Aurum Light for being willing to trek all the way to our island and present these workshops
The team at Paul C Buff Australia for providing the lighting for the event. If you want to see more, check out their site or this article that talks about lighting the famous Silver Angel
